The Thompsons

The following details are my Partner Peter's tree so far. I will add information as I find it:

JOHN THOMPSON b.approx 1838 in Scarisbrick, Lancs.

He married MARY ANN BALDWIN on 25 Feb 1862. The father of John is shown as THOMAS Thompson, a Toll Collector. (his details to be researched).

They had 7 children - details found on census records:-

RICHARD THOMPSON B. 24 Aug 1862, at The Village, Burscough.

THOMAS THOMPSON B.1865 in Burscough.

RICHARD THOMPSON married ALICE BLACKHURST ON 10 May 1886 at St Michaels Parish Church, Liverpool.

They had 7 children that were found on the 1901 census, but have since discovered they had 13. Richard was working as a Railway Engine Stoker (on 1901). Their children:-

ALBERT THOMPSON B. 19 June 1896 at 4 Lentil St. Kirkdale, Liverpool (Peter's grandfather)

JOHN T THOMPSON B.apx 1888 in Bootle, Liverpool (a french polisher)

RICHARD THOMPSON B.apx 1891 Liverpool

WILLIAM H THOMPSON B.apx 1895 Liverpool

ALBERT THOMPSON married JEANNIE ISABELLA MITCHELL (she was born in Aberdeen on 7th March 1893) They married on March 27th 1920 at Walton on the Hill Parish Church. Albert was a Railway Passenger Porter.

Their children being:-
