Speke Hall

We are currently researching into the connection of the Worthington family and the Norris family of Speke Hall Liverpool. According to the book by Philip M Worthington, William Worthington married into the Norris Family, marrying Elizabeth Norris (our 14th great grandparents). At present we only have information in Philip M Worthingtons book, so we are researching further.

We wrote to to Speke Hall to ask them if they could check their archives, and they have advised us to check the Liverpool Records Office, were all the Norris Family records are held. They were interested to hear of the early Norris connection, and as soon as we can confirm any details, we will be contacting the National Trust. They are currently working on updating the family history exhibition to be shown in the house.

Speke Hall is a beautifulTudor House and we visit it often.
