Lancashire Life Magazine 1957

Here is a scanned copy of an article I typed out when I was a child. A magazine had been kept by our grandfather and his family, which contained an article from Lancs Life Magazine dated 1957, and was entitled 'Is your name Worthington'.

The person who wrote the article, appears to be a Worthington from the way it was written. I typed a copy of this on my 'Petite' childs typewriter when I was young, wondering if this could be in any way related to our family. I never realised it would take me over thirty years to discover it is actually our ancestors!!

Unfortunately, the original magazine has never been found in the house since and we have no idea where it went, but I kept this piece of typing in my drawer for all these years.

The bottom of the typing is missing, and the typing is a little faded. If you 'zoom in' on it you can read it better!
