Walter Finney was born in Ellastone, Staffs, abt May 1873. Walter died 26th Dec 1950, age 77 yrs, in Corby, Northants. He was a retired Taxi Driver.
He married Priscilla Bayler in St Michaels, Macclesfield Cheshire on 4 September 1893. Witnesses George Barnes and Anna shatioes??
Priscilla was born in Macclesfield, Cheshire about Feb 1872. Priscilla's surname was spelt Bayley on her marriage certificate. Priscilla was the daughter of Thomas Bailey and Priscilla Whittaker.
Priscilla died 2nd April 1953, age 81 yrs, in Lancaster. She resided in Macclesfield, Cheshire 1891-1893, with parents. Her occupation was Silk Warper in Macclesfield on 1891.

Emily Doris Finney born Congleton Cheshire 1 Jan 1897. Emily was always known as Doris. Emily died about November 1981 in Kettering, Northants, at approx 84yrs of age. She married Arthur Thomas Geary in Northmoor Methodist Church Oldham about May 1920. Arthur was born in Oldham abt May 1894, and died abt 1947. Emily resided in Corby abt 1970.
Nellie Finney - our grandmother - born Macclesfied, Cheshire, 25 December 1898. Nellie died 2 Oct in Southport at the Promenade Hospital, at 83yrs of age. Nellie married our grandfather Gilbert WORTHINGTON in West End Chapel 12 Oct 1922. Witnesses Arthur Worthington (Gilbert's brother, and Lilly Farrell (Nellies friend). SEE GRANDPARENTS PAGE.

Annie Finney born Oldham, Lancs 8 June 1906. Annie died Nov 1985 in Oldham, Lancs, at 79 yrs of age. She married Henry Platt in St. Mattheyw Chadderton Oldham, abt Nov 1934. Henry was born in Oldham 10 Jan 1905. He was always known as Harry. Henry died 1985 in Oldham at 80yrs of age.
Edith Finney, born Oldham Lancs abt Feb 1910. Edith died after 1940. She married Clarence Stansfield Gray, in Northmoor Methodist Church, Oldham abt Aug 1931. Clarence was born Oldham abt Dec 1902 and died after 1940.
Amy Finney born Oldham, Lancs., abt 1913. She died after 1950. She married Albert Howarth Ogden abt May 1937. Albert was born in Oldham 28 Dec 1911 and died October 1996 in Lancaster age 84yrs.
